BYLAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS
3. The persons appointed to the job positions or titles listed in Column 2 of Schedule
"A" to this bylaw are designated as Bylaw Enforcement Officers pursuant to
Chapter 26, Par|8, Division 3, Section 264,1(b) of the Communitv Charter for the
purpose of enforcing the bylaws listed in Column 1 of Schedule "A" opposite the
respective job positions.
OFFENCE AND PENALTY
4. The penalty for a bylaw contravention referred to in Section 2 is as follows:
(a) Subject to Subsection 4(b), is the Penalty amount set out in Column A1 of
Schedule "B";
(b) lf received by the City within 14 days of the person receiving or being
presumed to have received the notice, is the Early Payment Penalty set out
in Column A2 of Schedule "8";
5. The Corporation of the City of Vernon Bylaw Number 5050, cited as "City of
Vernon Municipal Ticketing lnformation System Bylaw Number 5050, 2006", and
all amendments thereto, is hereby repealed.
6. This bylaw shall take effect upon the date of its adoption.
