2. Details of the Waterfront Storm Water Wetland project are included in the attached
grant application (Attachment 1). The total cost of the project is $954,844.39 of
which the grant would fund 2/3 of the total project cost or approximately $636,563.
DCC funding (Project ST 7 - Engineering Wetlands) for the project would be 28%
of the total project cost or $267,356.43. The remaining 113 City share of
$50,925.03 could be funded from general revenue reserves or from approved 20'11
budget such as the miscellaneous storm account. lf the grant application is
approved for funding by the Province, staff would subsequently submit a funding
request to Council authorizing the use of the storm DCC funds as well as the
general reven ue funds/source.
