Local police resources are requested to:
o Develop and implement traff ic management plans for the
safe and uninhibited passage of the Relay and to maximize
community safety.
e Provide traffic support for the convoy operations where it is
considered that assistance is required.

25th Anniversary Relay route,
. Liaise with the Community Planning Team and the Rick
Hansen Foundation to provide police in support of community
End of Day Celebrations to maximize community safety.

ln the interest of your community and the Rick Hansen
Foundation, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) will be
emailed to your community. This document will outline in
detail the expectations, rights and obligations involved with the
25th Anniversary Relay to ensure a mutually beneficial working
relationsh ip.
Your Relay Representative will be happy to assist you with any
questions or concerns you may have and will be in contact with
you shortly after you receive this document.
