The Rick Hansen 25th Anniversary Relay would not be possible
without the generosity of our partners. As a result of the invaluable
support they have provided to the 251h Anniversary Relay, certain
sponsor elements should be taken into account within your End of
Day Celebration plans,
Recognition and Signage
25th Anniversary Relay backdrops and signage will be provided
as part of your End of Day Celebration. ln order to adhere to the
contracts with our Relay partners, we ask that any community
signage recognizing local sponsors at community events first be
approved by your Relay Representative. Placement of community
signage will be at the discretion of the community, however, there
will be some restricted signage areas - mainly media locations and
the main stage.
Celebration Site Activation
Partners of the 251h Anniversary Relay may choose to conduct
marketing and promotional activities at the community celebration
sites, enhancing the festive atmosphere. The scope of these
activities will vary according to the size of the site and anticipated
attendance. Once approved, sponsor-related promotions or activities
will not require any assistance from the Community Planning Team.
Although partners may also distribute premium items such as
merchandise and souvenirs, all other requests for premium
distribution must first be approved by your Relay Representative.
Local Sponsors
To respect the contractual obligations of the Rick Hansen
251h Anniversary Relay's sponsors and partners, the pursuit and/or
acquisition of local sponsors is permitted with the approval from
your Relay Representative. The approval process is necessary to
protect 25th Anniversary Relay partner exclusive category rights and
to avoid conflicting sponsors and services.
