Moved by Councillor Nicol, seconded by Councillor Lee:
THAT Council supports the recommendation from the Finance
Committee that Council forurrard the funding request from the
Sovereign Lake Nordic Club, Official Host of the Sparkling Hill
Masters World Cup 2011, to the Greater Vernon Advisory Committee
for grant funding in the amount of $15,000.00 as well as an in-kind
equipment request of approximately $3,000.00;
AND FURTHER, that Council encourage the Regional District of the
North Okanagan consider this request favorably, and on a priority
basis.

The Manager, Finance advised that the Emergency Program Coordinator
is in support of the application from 'The Road Home Rescue and Safe
Keeping Society'.
Moved by Councillor Nicol, seconded by Councillor Spiers:
THAT Council supports the recommendation from the Finance
Committee that Council requests the Finance Manager contact the
Emergency Programs Coordinator to determine if a domestic animal
rescue program currently exists in the City of Vernon in order for the
Finance Committee to determine the appropriateness of the grant
request from the Road Home Rescue and Safe Keeping Society;
AND FURTHER that Council approves a Council Discretionary Grant
to'The Road Home Rescue and Safe Keeping Society' in the amount
of $3,020.00.

THAT Council adopt the "Soufhern lnterior Bylaw Notice - Dispute
Adjudication Registry Operation Policf' and the "Screening Officer -
Bylaw Notice Policf', attached as Schedules 1 & 2 to the report
dated December 29,2010 from Mr. Clint Kanester, Manager, Bylaw
Enforcement;
AND FURTHER, that Council approve the draft "Bylaw Notice
Enforcement Bylaw Number 5250' and "Municipal Ticketing
lnformation Bylaw Number 5300' proceeding to initial readings.
