ESTABLISHMENT
REPEAL BYLAW

Moved by Councillor Nicol, seconded by Councillor Gilroy:
THAT pursuant to the provisions of Section 801.4 l9onsent on behalf
of municipat pafticipating areal of the Local Governmenf Acf, the
Council of the Corporation of the City of Vernon does hereby consent,
on behalf of the electors of the City of Vernon to the Board of the
Regional District of North Okanagan adopting the following bylaw:
"Regional Air Quality Service Establishment Repeal
Bylaw No. 2468, 2010"
To repeal Regional Air Quality Service Establishment Bylaw No.
2025, 2005 and all amendments made thereto, which bylaw
established a local administrative service for regional air quality in the
Regional District of North Okanagan for the properties within the
boundaries of the seruice atea, being all the territorial area of the
Township of Spallumcheen, City of Armstrong, City of Vernon, District
of Coldstream, Village of Lumby and all of the ElectoralAreas "8" and
"C" of the Regional District of North Okanagan'

Moved by Councillor Lee, seconded by Councillor Gilroy:
THAT Council requests the Environmental Planner to investigate the
best means for the City of Vernon to address Air Quality lssues in
partnership with other Okanagan communities, due to the impending
repeal of the Regional Air Quality Service Establishment Bylaw No.
2025,2005, and provide a report back to Council.
