are currently with a lawyer for review. The first Board of Directors is being selected and/or
appointed; hnal decisions wele not made by the end of December 2010.

Recommendation: On the 27rn of September 2010 a verbal agreement was reached with
Crown Counsel to have a Memorandum of Understanding upon confirmation that the
NORJ Program has becomes a registered Society'

Resolution (BCRJ with the Splatsin First Ñation was approved on the 22nd of March 2010
to work with the NORJ Program. On the 3'd of August 2010 the Splatsin First Nation
appointed a Council Member to sit on the Board of Directors.
On the 7th of December 2010 a BCR with the Okanagan Indian Band was approved to work
with the NORJ Program. A person name was put forward to sit on the Board of Directors
and confirmation on approval for that person will be forthcoming.

Recommendation: Community Justice Forum Facilitation Training (CJF) was held on
the 15th - ITth of October 2010. Sixteen (16) completed the training and Margaret Clark
received her CJF Trainer certification.

2010 a presentation to the Committee of
the Whole secured three (3) years of on-going support for the NORJ Program and partial
funding from the City of Vernon. The Business Case will be forwarded to the rural
communities in the New Year to be presented for on-going support for the Program and
additional funding to maintain the level of service.
