<strong>Supratec</strong> Gesellschaft für Umwelt- und Verfahrenstechnik mbH produces<br />

modern high efficient aeration systems, which are mainly used for oxygen<br />

transfer into biological waste water treatment. These products can also be<br />

used for any kind of transfer of gases into liquids<br />

<strong>HEL</strong>IXOR ® is the brand of coarse bubble diffusers used for aeration of<br />

liquids with high suspended solids.<br />

<strong>HEL</strong>IXOR ® diffusers are offered in two sizes, (diameter x length) 300mm x<br />

900mm and 300mm x 150mm. The diffuser is a made of a Polypropylenecylinder<br />

with an inner helix. The air distributor is installed beneath the<br />

diffuser. Via holes in the air distributor the air is passed through the diffuser.<br />

Inside the diffuser a intensively mixing of air and water will take place. Due<br />

to that, the oxygen transfer happens and a up-oriented flow is produced.<br />

The extraordinary characteristics of <strong>HEL</strong>IXOR ® - diffusers are given by its<br />

design. <strong>HEL</strong>IXOR ® - diffusers have a large range of specific air flow with<br />

sufficient efficiency.<br />

The arrangement of the diffusers can be designed to give an optimum<br />

oxygen transfer.<br />

<strong>HEL</strong>IXOR ® diffusers have a huge range of specific air flow from 0 up to 70<br />

Nm³/h (Helixor 900), or 0 – 120 Nm³/h (Helixor 1500).<br />

The normal specific air flow is 40 Nm³/h (Helixor 900), or 70 Nm³/h (Helixor<br />

1500).<br />

<strong>HEL</strong>IXOR ® diffusers can reach specific oxygen transfer of more than 14<br />

gO 2 /Nm³xm ET , if coverage and waterdepth is favourable.<br />

Over the range of specific air-flow the efficiency is good.<br />

<strong>HEL</strong>IXOR ® diffusers are well established and are working to the clients<br />

satisfaction in over 80 plants world-wide.<br />

<strong>HEL</strong>IXOR ® diffusers are mainly used in industrial wastewater treatment<br />

plants.<br />

<strong>HEL</strong>IXOR ® diffusers can be used for all geometric forms of tanks, but they<br />

are extraordinarily good for medium to large tanks and high water depths.<br />

<strong>HEL</strong>IXOR ® diffusers can be operated intermittently.<br />

<strong>HEL</strong>IXOR ® diffusers can be used for drinking water purposes.
