Contd… Owing to velocity factor due to movement of Indian plates the co-ordinates ordinates of a point will be different in different years but all the co-ordinatesordinates are standardised at epoch 2005 in ITRF 2008 reference frame. So, co-ordinates ordinates may be revised after 10 – 15 years to different ITRF epoch. User agency should adopt the co-ordinates ordinates supplied by SOI only for consistency.
