TRELLIDOR RETRACTABLE SECURITY
Trellidor’s Retractable Security range consists of powder coated
galvanised steel security barriers in Trellidor’s familiar double trellis
design. The product options include security gates for doors, patios,
passages and stairways and retractable security barriers for windows
and shop counters.
Retractable security is used to help protect both domestic homes and
commercial buildings such as banks, prisons, retail outlets, airports,
schools and stadiums from break-ins by unwanted intruders.
All our security barriers are manufactured at our ISO audited
factory and are SABS approved.
PRODUCT RANGE
Trellidor Retractable Security products are custom made in a range of
designs to suit all security risk profiles, from low to extremely high. The
designs look similar to the untrained eye, but differ in the way they are
engineered to resist attack.
Trellidor Retractable Security range includes:
Trellidor Trojan T1000
This retractable barrier was developed for extremely high
risk security situations. It has been certified to level 2 by the
internationally recognised London-based LPCB (Loss Prevention
Certification Board).
Trellidor Plus T900
Trellidor Plus is suitable for very high risk security situations
and has been certified to level 1 by the internationally recognised
London-based LPCB.
Trellidor T800
This barrier is ideal for high risk security situations.
Trellidor T700
South Africa’s most popular security gate, which is ideal for
medium to high risk security situations.
Trellidor T500
An economical retractable gate, suitable for basic security
applications.
Trellidor Retractable Security gates are custom
designed for each doorway.
These products are also available as a fixed security option for windows.
They are manufactured in the same way but without the locking system.

Trellidor is one of the few manufacturers that offer special
options to cater for health and safety regulations and
ease-of-use. We can custom design our Trellidor Retractable Security
range to incorporate:
Cut-in tracks that are recessed into the floor for safe access.
Hinge-away mechanisms that swing the gate stack and bottom
track to one side and out of the way.
Hinge-up units that lift the bottom track up towards the gate stack
leaving the floor clear of hazards.
Curved security barriers to fit unusual architectural features or
curved windows.
Angled security barriers to fit unique architectural designs such
as bay windows.
Electric locking systems that operate using a push button, remote,
keypad or connect to your existing access control system.
Flexi sashes that can be opened/locked on both sides, allowing
the unit to move from right to left or left to right.
Units that stack side-by-side rather than on both sides of the
opening.

THE STRENGTH OF TRELLIDOR
LOCKS
Many break-ins occur through a security gate’s lock area, which is
often attacked using a variety of tools. To reduce the risk, Trellidor
has developed two patented locking systems.
Trellidor’s dead-lock system
This is a unique patented draw-bolt locking system that has
a single key point with two or three locking points, providing
increased resistance against attempted break-ins with the turn of
a single key.
Trellidor’s slam-lock system
This is a unique patented locking system that incorporates the
dead-lock technology described above, as well as two other modes
of operation, slam-lock and open mode. You choose the mode of
operation that suits you at different times and circumstances.
