Configuration is identical to NEMA 5-15, see Sec. Gen. for dimensional details.
Body – R/C (QMFZ2/8), Molded PVC, Type Flex 60C, manufactured by Pure
Friend Business Enterprise Corp.See ILL. 8A for dimensional details.
Line Contacts – Cat. No. 98750, manufactured by GEM Terminal Ind. Co.,
Ltd, Formed from 0.7 mm thick copper alloy, plating optional, Contacts
recessed 6.4 mm minimum in openings 8.9 mm by 2.0 mm and 7.0 mm by 2.0
mm. Refer to ILL. 10 for dimensional details.
Line Contacts Electrical Connection – Integral tabs crimped to conductor.
Tab length 4.0 mm, crimp length 3.8 mm.
Alternate Contact - Copper alloy, plating optional, Cat. No. 98752,
manufactured by GEM Terminal Ind. Co., Ltd. Crimp to conductor 4.0 mm.

Grounding Contact – D-Shaped opening of 5.4 mm by 5.3 mm recessed 2.5 mm,
Cat. No. 98310, manufactured by GEM Terminal Ind. Co., Ltd, formed of
0.6 mm thick copper alloy, plating optional, See ILL. 11 for dimensional
details.
Grounding Contact Electrical Connection - Integral tabs crimped to
conductor. Tab length 4.0 mm, crimp length 3.8 mm.
Illuminator (Optional) – Neon Lamp, one provided, shall be located
within fitting. One lead of the neon lamp is connected across the
neutral contact, the other lead is connected in series with a minimum 30
K ohm resistor which is in turn connected to the line contact.
Alternate (Optional) – Same as above except for LED, one provided,
connected in series with a minimum 27 K ohm resistor which is in turn
connected to the line contact.
Cord – Flexible cord, Listed (ZJCZ/7). See the following table for
application details.
