Park brake systems with double control valves...
Some systems utilize an extra reservoir that allows the
release of the park brake even if the main reservoir were
completely emptied due to failure of the system.
Some systems, usually on trucking applications, would
require the operator to physically crawl under the unit
and “cage” the spring brakes if the vehicle needed to be
moved to a safer location. (This procedure will be
demonstrated by your instructor during this course.)
