“Maxi-Brake” type Park Brake
The “Maxi-Brake” parking brake system is
somewhat different in design. A typical
maxi-brake chamber is pictured here.
Note there is no access hole in the end of the
chamber to allow caging of the brake.
Rather, the maxi-brake uses a either a
single control valve that would not permit
an emergency release of the park brake, or
a dual control valve that allows access to an
“Emergency Release Reservoir.”
