reservoir air directly, and the application air
acts only as a control device, the brake lag
that would normally occur between the foot
valve and the rear brakes, is greatly reduced.
• This concept of “relaying” a brake
application is used in other valves in the
system, so it’s important to confirm your
understanding at this point.
