General Policies
General Policies
• The Woodlands Spa is an adult environment. The minimum age is 16 for
spa services, the fitness center, fitness classes and the wet areas.
• If you are a resort guest, we encourage you to leave all jewelry and
personal items in your hotel room.
• The Woodlands Spa is a cell phone free area. Guests are asked to turn
cell phones off or to place on vibrate and to limit cell phone usage to
our front lobby area.
• All prices and/or listing of services are subject to change without notice.
• The Woodlands Spa is a non-smoking facility.
Cancellation Policy
• If you must cancel or change your spa reservation, you must notify
The Woodlands Spa at least six (6) hours prior to your scheduled
appointment to avoid a cancellation charge.
• Twenty four (24) hours notice is required for package cancellations.
• All “no shows” will be charged 50% of service prices plus gratuity.
About Your Woodlands Spa Visit
• Please arrive approximately 30 minutes prior to your first spa service
or 15 minutes before a salon service. Late arrivals may result in a
modification of services in order to honor the next scheduled
appointment.
• In appreciation of outstanding service a 20% service charge will be
added inclusive of gratuity and tax. This amount is adjustable based on
your level of satisfaction.
• The Woodlands Spa provides robes and slippers for your use during
each spa visit. If you plan to exercise, you will need to provide your own
clothing and footwear.
• We recommend that you bring your own personal
headphones for use on our cardio theater equipment.
• During your spa service, areas of the body not involved will be covered.
Undergarments are optional based on your comfort level.
• If you have a preference for a male or female provider, please let us
know. If no request is made, you will be placed with the next
available provider.

• Spa facilities include use of the indoor heated spa pool, whirlpool, steam
and sauna areas, locker rooms, fitness center and fitness classes. If you are
receiving a spa treatment, the Daily Spa Ritual Fee is waived for the day of

For Your Consideration
• Pregnant women and individuals with heart conditions or varicose veins
should avoid all heat treatments, steam, sauna and whirlpool areas.
• To prevent irritation, women should avoid shaving prior to body treatments.
• Please be sure to inform your therapist of any inflamed joints or muscles.
• We recommend you receive only one heat treatment per day.
• Following any of our treatments, we recommend that you avoid rigorous
activity for at least an hour.
• Please drink plenty of water before and especially after exercise and all
spa treatments.
• Guests receiving facials or waxing services should inform the aesthetician
of any medications including Accutane or any form of Retinol product.

A powerful massage technique that combines Russian, Swedish and Eastern
body work and delivers acupressure and healing energy. Deep muscle

The ultimate in bliss! Soothing warm stone massage combined with
Ayurvedic oils sets the tone for altered states of tranquility. Special oils are

Lomi Lomi Massage (80 min) - $195
Experience the art of this ancient Hawaiian massage ritual passed down from
generation to generation. Lomi Lomi uses full body massage strokes that
travel the length of the body in soothing waves, enabling you to relax, give in
and simply be. This sacred practice incorporates movement, breath, dance
and the healing power of intention. Due to the free flowing nature of this
service and the unique draping style, the Lomi Lomi is recommended for
experienced spa goers.

The Dream Catcher is a unique blend of Native American healing techniques
and ancient Hawaiian Lomi Lomi massage. This treatment will take you to a
place found only in your dreams. It promotes deep relaxation and allows the
body to heal from within. The goal of the Dream Catcher is to cleanse the
spirit, quiet the mind and heal the soul so that your visions and dreams can
come to fruition without interruption.
Guided Massage (110 min) - $250
Take a little of The Woodlands Spa home with you. You and your partner
will have the opportunity to learn the art of massage from our experienced
therapists. Learn to perform basic massage strokes and how to apply them
to get the results you desire. Each person gives and receives. Casual

Well Being
The following are energy healing spa services but are not the traditional
massage experience. Loose-fitting clothing is recommended.
Cranial Sacral Therapy (50 min) - $125
A gentle healing technique which utilizes light touch to test the rhythm
of the cerebrospinal fluid with the craniosacral system and encourages
release of negative stress, anxiety or trauma.
Reiki (50 min) - $125
Applying “universal life force energy,” this gentle Eastern technique of light
touch and non-touch healing energizes the body while promoting a deep
sense of well-being and relaxation.
Acutonics® – Vibrational Massage
(Loose, comfortable clothing should be worn for all Acutonics® sessions.)
The stresses of life can cause us to lose connection with the rhythms and
cycles of nature and the interconnections to all things in the universe.
This can manifest into imbalances and disease. The Woodlands Spa
proudly offers Acutonics®, which works to correct these imbalances.
Similar to acupuncture, Acutonics® uses meridians and source points
to allow vibrations to travel and heal the body naturally. Tuning forks
are strategically placed on appropriate acupressure points for particular
conditions, diseases and areas of discomfort. These tools enable you to
access deeper emotional levels and unlock the stores of memory lodged in
the muscles. Some conditions that can be addressed with Acutonics® are:
muscle spasms, anxiety, stress, headaches, mental restlessness, disease, pain
and digestive issues.

Bring your mind and body back to planet Earth in just 25 minutes with
this session of Acutonics®. Afterward, you will find yourself grounded,
focused, recharged and ready to take on the world.
• Echoes of the Universe (45 min) - $125
Balance your body and soul and harmonize to the cycles of nature
and the cosmos. Session includes consultation and time left after the
treatment to allow your body to reconnect with itself. Please arrive at
least 30 minutes early to complete your intake questionnaire.
Vitality Therapy (80/110 min) - $195 | $275
This unique service is designed to balance and restore the body’s
functional ability. Incorporating specific massage techniques and your
choice of Acupuncture or Acutonics®, your therapist will tap energy
points that have been known for centuries in Asia to support day-to-day
living and maintain a healthy body, mind and spirit. This proven technique
will help to increase vitality, create a strong immune system, improve brain
function and improve physical performance for men and women. Especially
good for anyone experiencing low vitality, fatigue and stress-related
conditions. Frequency of this treatment will enhance its benefits.

Acupuncture (25/50/80 min) - $75 | $125 | $190
Acupuncture promotes natural healing. It can enhance recuperative power
and immunity, support physical and emotional health and improve overall
function and well-being. Acupuncture is an oriental therapy that calls for the
insertion of hair-like needles at various points (acupoints) on the body that
have close association with neuro-vascular bundles in the human body. It is
a safe, painless and effective way to treat a wide variety of medical problems.
Approved by the FDA in 1997, licensed clinical acupuncturists practice
pain-free insertions utilizing high-quality pre-sterilized disposable needles.
Once inserted, needles stay in place for 20-30 minutes while the patient
reclines comfortably on a treatment table awaiting the arrival of an energetic
response that Chinese physicians call “Chi”. After the treatment, patients
report feeling energized or relaxed.
Why do I need acupuncture?
Acupuncture is recognized by the National Institute of Health and the World
Health Organization to be effective in the treatment of a wide variety of
medical conditions. Here is a list of a few conditions acupuncture has been

What does it feel like?
You will probably feel very little when the needles are inserted. It is NOT
comparable to hypodermic injection or being stuck with a pin. After
insertion you may feel a warmth, a tingling or a drawing sensation about the
skin around the needle. As your body intuitively responds to the treatment
you may also feel the sensations move along the acupuncture pathways. It is
not uncommon for patients to fall asleep during the treatment. Most people
leave the treatment session in a relaxed state. Needling techniques can also
be adjusted to fit your level of sensitivity.
How many treatments will I need?
The number of treatments you need depends on a variety of factors and
varies from person to person. Chronic conditions usually take longer
to resolve than acute ones. A series of treatments may be needed for a
cumulative effect. Some conditions may be successfully treated in only one or
two sessions.
First Session (50 min)
It is imperative for guests to arrive at least 30 minutes early for their first
session. This time will be used to gain valuable information that your
acupuncturist will use to create a treatment based on your specific needs.
Nemacolin accupuncturists do not diagnose any type of medical condition.

Sweet Almond Oil, chamomile, Aloe Vera and Vitamin E. It’s great for the
skin, yet very effective, removing dead skin cells and encouraging cell renewal.
Add moisture to your skin with the finishing O-Mega Super-rich body cream.
Excellent for sensitive skin and expectant mothers. Does not include
Vichy shower. Combine with any other service for a full body experience.
Refresher Body Polish (25 min) - $80
Enjoy the effects of our body scrub even when your time is limited. Our
25-minute scrub will offer the same deep cleansing for your skin with a
thorough application of moisturizing cream. Combine this with any other

Nature’s Essential Body Polish (50 min) - $130
Pamper your body with blissful sensations of a stimulating yet gentle
exfoliation that removes dead skin cells and impurities, bringing your skin
back to a silky softness. An exhilarating rinse with our Vichy Shower is
followed by a pampering application of moisturizer that will leave your skin

This deeply detoxifying wrap will powerfully penetrate the skin to lift away
toxins and leave skin supple, pure and with a healthy balance from inside
out. Stimulate circulation to increase cellular regeneration and improve the
appearance of your skin. Includes a heated wrap and moisturizing cream
application.
Take your cleanse to the next level with our 80 minute version
which includes a light rhythmical massage that encourages the lymphatic
system to eliminate metabolic waste products and excess fluids, as well as

French clay, aromatic oils and papaya are the combination for radiant
soft skin. You begin with a relaxing digital pressure massage on the back,
continue with a full body exfoliation and then are cocooned in rich clay
while a scalp and face massage tops off this decadent experience.
Red Flower® Hammam Body Ritual (80 min) - $200
Deeply detoxifying. In this five step cleansing ritual, you will be exfoliated
with an invigorating coffee scrub, then wrapped in rich rhassoul clay to
draw out deep impurities of the skin, which are then washed away with a
Moroccan mint tea purifier. A lightly sprayed mist of quince and orange
blossoms will be sealed by warmth of a gentle application of aromatic
oils using the curative essences of cardamom, jasmine, bergamot, amber
and clove. A final application of tangerine fig body butter leaves the skin

neroli cypress bath and then warm the body and increase circulation with a
soothing massage application of cardamom amber oil. Balance the detoxifying
effects of the entire treatment with the penetrating moisture of our tangerine

Experience a tighter, firmer look to your skin without the workout. Enjoy a
warm aromatic getaway that takes you through fields of citrus smoothness
with our buffalo greens salt scrub, into a toning and firming cactus wrap with
a rich and creamy agave nectar milk bath. Turn back the clock with a massage
using a powerful anti-aging agave nectar oil rich in plant extracts and essential

Woodlands Spa signature therapy. The “Water Path” will stimulate

and facials.
Your child will not only have an opportunity to take part in specific spa
treatments and services, but also to learn the importance of physical and
