Fitness Center includes 14 cardio machines, cardio theater and<br />
a weights area. Lockers are available; plus one free personal<br />
trainer consultation with purchase <strong>of</strong> a membership.<br />
Hours: M–F 8:00am – 8:00 pm<br />
Fees: $20 a month for Single Adult<br />
$35 a month for Family (2 adults, 2 kids same household)<br />
$15 a month for Active Adults 55+<br />
$25 a month Youth ages 13 – 17<br />
$10 a month for persons registered in additional Orchard<br />
classes<br />

Personal Fitness Training<br />
Work one-on-one with an ACE certified personal trainer to help<br />
meet your personal fitness goals through diet and exercise.<br />
Appointment required. Private, couple and group sessions<br />
are available. Please contact Orchard or Lynette Woodard<br />
<strong>Recreation</strong> Centers for more information. Must have fitness<br />
membership to obtain personal training packages at Orchard<br />
<strong>Recreation</strong> Center.<br />

SUMMER ACTIVITY CAMPS<br />
It’s five days <strong>of</strong> non-stop fun! Take your child to a<br />
neighborhood camp so they can stay connected with friends.<br />
This 8-week recreational and educational based camp is held<br />
Monday–Friday starting May 28 through July 19 and is for<br />
kids ages 6–14. No camp held July 4–5.<br />
Campers will learn valuable skills from local experts on a<br />
variety <strong>of</strong> topics including cooking, money management,<br />
literacy and gang awareness. Of course the summer wouldn’t<br />
be complete without a few field trips, swimming, games,<br />
crafts, movies, and other fun recreational activities.<br />
Program Fees: A one-time registration fee <strong>of</strong> $10 per camper<br />
is required. The weekly cost varies by center and grant<br />
funded scholarships are available. To register, contact the<br />
facility you would like your child to attend to schedule an<br />
appointment, complete the required paperwork and discuss<br />
scholarship eligibility.<br />
** Scholarships are funded by the Community Services Block Grant through<br />
Kansas Housing Resources Corporation and <strong>Summer</strong> Activity Camps<br />
recreational activities are funded by the 21st Century Grant**<br />

children ages 6 to 13.<br />

<strong>of</strong> field trips each week. These exciting field trips<br />
are designed with education in mind and feature<br />
a weekly theme. They include visits to All Star<br />
Adventures, Tanganyika Wildlife <strong>Park</strong>, Exploration<br />

and much more.<br />

HOOK A KID ON GOLF<br />
Register now at Orchard <strong>Recreation</strong> Center<br />
(Registration is only available in person or over the phone)<br />
After this one-week camp, your kids will be hooked on golf!<br />
This program is designed for first time golfers, ages 8 to 15<br />
who want to learn the basics. Each participant will receive<br />
a set <strong>of</strong> golf clubs along with a team polo shirt and hat! No<br />
experience necessary.<br />
