ABOUT THIS EVENT
Women are growing as a share of landowners
in Minnesota and around the country. This
event will bring together landowners, researchers
and capacity and to learn about
how best to reach and engage women landowners.
We will:

Share and hear one another’s experiences
and landowners or organizers of womens
landowner networks.
Learn together about resources available
to support women landowners in the upper
Lakes States, including a new Women
Owning Woodlands toolkit.
Build relationships and connections.
Most importantly, increase our capacity
and ability to engage new women
landowners in lifelong learning and land
conservation.
Who should attend?

Women landowners in the Lakes States
Organizers of womens learning networks
Adult educators and naturalists
Conservation organization staff
What will you take home?
You’ll go home with new relationships, confidence,
and knowledge to grow as a local leader
focused on women landowners. You’ll have a
copy of the new 65-page Women Owning
Woodlands toolkit, borchures and information
from other womens learning networks around
the region, and more energy than ever to build
your network. And because our gathering ends
just before the Tools to Engage Landowners
Effectively workshop, you’ll have
the option to conveniently attend both. For
