2. BUY-BUST OPERATION AT BRGY. TANZANGLUMA<br />

IMUS, CAVITE<br />

• On June 1, 2010, elements <strong>of</strong> Cavite CIDT-4ARCIDU <strong>of</strong> this<br />

Group toge<strong>the</strong>r with Cavite PPO in coordination with PDEA PRO-CALABARZON<br />

conducted buy-bust operation at Brgy. TanzangLuma, Imus, Cavite that resulted<br />

in <strong>the</strong> arrest <strong>of</strong> Arnold ALIMA y Villejo, 22 years old and <strong>the</strong> confiscation <strong>of</strong> four<br />

(4) pieces <strong>of</strong> big sealed transparent plastic bag containing <strong>of</strong> MOLone (1)<br />

kilogram <strong>of</strong> suspected cocainewith DDB value <strong>of</strong>Php 2.6 Million.<br />

• During <strong>the</strong> conduct <strong>of</strong> operation, o<strong>the</strong>r suspects @ Nancy<br />

and @ Garcia an alleged member <strong>of</strong> PDEA, sensing <strong>the</strong> presence <strong>of</strong> operating<br />

units eluded arrest on board a Honda Civic colored black bearing Plate No. NAN-<br />

24 towards Dasmariñas City. Operating teams gave chase but <strong>the</strong> suspects<br />

managed to escape from pursuing police operatives.<br />

• Arrested suspect was apprised <strong>of</strong> his constitutional rights,<br />

brought to PIB, Cavite PPO for investigation and proper disposition and<br />

documentation, while confiscated evidence was submitted to <strong>the</strong> Cavite Crime<br />

Laboratory for chemical analysis.<br />

• On June 2, 2010 at around 4:40 A.M., a suicide incident<br />

transpired at <strong>the</strong> PIB Extension Office Detention Cell, Cavite PPO, Camp Gen.<br />

Pantaleon Garcia, Imus, Cavite. Initial investigation disclosed that <strong>the</strong> duty jailer<br />

PO2 Lyndon Mindo discovered <strong>the</strong> suicide when he woke-up to answer <strong>the</strong> call<br />

<strong>of</strong> nature. Victim committed suicide with <strong>the</strong> use <strong>of</strong> a noose made from his jeans<br />

wrapped around his neck and tied at <strong>the</strong> iron bar <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> said locked-up cell.<br />

Victim was rushed to Our Lady <strong>of</strong> Pilar Hospital, Imus, Cavite for medical<br />

treatment but later died at about 5:35 A.M. <strong>of</strong> same date.<br />
