Riverside Caravan Park is centrally situated
for touring the Highlands and local beaches.
It is situated a short driving distance from
the Moray coast, where there are beautiful
sheltered beaches of white sand, rocky
headlands and idyllic fishing villages. Riverside
Caravan Park lies in a sheltered area adjacent
to the River Lossie and surrounded by mature
woodland. It is open from April to October
each year. There are 34 pitches for caravans,
motorhomes and tents, all supplied with
electric hook-ups. The site is well-equipped and
has all the facilities needed for the comfortable
stay.
The facilities include:
Toilet block including free showers, hand and
hairdryers, disabled toilet, laundrette with
washing machines, tumble dryers and iron.
Adventure playground for children. Play area
adjacent to the park which is suitable for
ball games etc.Tourist Information, chemical

The Hexham Racecourse caravan and
camping site is set in the heart of stunnng
Northumberland countryside, just 2 miles
south of the town centre and within

Brow Farm Campsite, located in Ratlinghope,
west of the Longmynd, is a diverse and
surprising Area of Outstanding Natural
Beauty, ever changing and thrilling to explore.
The campsite will take many people back to
their childhood, sinking ankle deep into old
wildflower meadows, which our grandparents
took for granted.
The owner, John Sankey, wants to preserve
the old meadows and has planted hundreds
of trees to encourage the wildlife and provide
shade for the future. Birds are abundant, in
fact, it is a birdwatchers’ paradise! Owls can be
heard and seen at night.
Chemicals and artificial fertilisers are not
used on Brow Farm Campsite. The wildflower
meadow is cut for hay after the flowers have
seeded in late July. The Shropshire Way runs
alongside the farm. Campers are welcome to
camp anywhere they choose on the 12-acre
campsite, allowing you to find the perfect
pitch!

Divers) can offer a quiet family setting
in Glenshellach, a peaceful and scenic
location only 2 miles from Oban Town
Centre.
Rated 4 star by Visit Scotland, the
site offers toilet and shower block,
dishwashing, laundry, small drying room
and information centre. Also onsite is a
barbecue area with an indoor eating area
for those without tents. A small playpark is
also onsite for the younger visitors.
There is no bar or entertainment onsite,
which ensures the quiet atmoshpere of
the site.

four miles west of Harrogate, on the edge
of the Yorkshire Dales, High Moor Farm Park

for hire as well as touring pitches and excellent
facilities. For tourers, High Moor Farm Park boasts
some of the best toilet facilities in the country with
a fully heated toilet block that includes hot and
cold water showers, bathrooms, wash hand basins
and separate disabled room with all facilities. There
are also electrical sockets available for hairdryers/
straighteners, irons etc. so you and your family don’t
have to go without your creature comforts.
There’s also a laundry room with deep sinks, ironing
board, washing machine and large hot dryer, dish
washing sinks, babies’ sinks and changing area, as
well as a shop selling most day-to-day commodities,
including a selection of caravan and camping
accessories. High Moor Farm Park also stocks Calor
Gas and Camping Gas.
High Moor Farm Park is situated within easy reach of
Harrogate, with its excellent shopping, open spaces
and spa. However, there’s more to explore; the city of
Ripon is only 17 miles away with its historic cathedral
and shopping centre and the ancient city of York
is a pleasant half hour drive from High Moor Farm
Park. Here you’ll find something to entertain all ages
and interests – highlights include York Minster, the
web of cobbled lanes offering the opportunity to
browse an amazing array of independent boutiques
and vintage stores, JORVIK Viking Centre, which is
the site of one of the most famous and astounding
discoveries of modern archaeology and Clifford’s
Tower, which stands proud as a symbol of the power
of England’s Medieval kings.
For relaxing after a long day of fun or exploration,
High Moor Farm Park welcomes guests to enjoy the
hospitality offered in the Park’s licensed bar, which
serves a range of drinks and excellent food, all freshly
prepared on site. An array of snacks are available
to take away. Why not try High Moor Farm Park’s
signature dish, mixed grill, but it is not for the faint
hearted! Food is available most evenings during the
high season from 7pm until last orders at 8:45pm. A
lunchtime menu is also available on Sundays from
12noon until 1:15pm.
Although the location of High Moor Farm Park
enables guests to get out and about and discover the
surrounding area, the site benefits from a number
of recreational facilities, including a nine-hole golf
course and a large indoor heated swimming pool
which adjoins an amusement area, complete with

Lochside Caravan and Camping has 108 pitches
(electric hook-ups are available) and is fully staffed
with friendly, helpful wardens, who are on hand
to help whenever necessary. The site boasts three
quality laundry/toilet and shower blocks as well
as a variety of play facilities for children including
two play parks, putting and pedalo boats which are
available for hire on the beautiful Carlingwark Loch.
Lochside is situated just a five-minute walk from the
town of Castle Douglas, Scotland’s only designated
‘Food Town’, which is popular with holidaymakers

Silvercraigs is smaller than Lochside, with 59 pitches
(electric hook-ups are available), plus additional
space solely for holidaymakers pitching tents
overnight. The town of Kirkcudbright, which is within
walking distance at the bottom of the hill, boasts a
picturesque marina, sports centre, swimming pool,
tennis courts and wonderful wildlife park and, in
the summer months, the museums in and around
the town display an array of arts and crafts by local
artists. The glorious sandy beaches at the Dhoon
and Brighouse Bay are just a few miles away. To book

Both are three-star rated campsites, with easy
access to the breathtaking countryside of southwest
Scotland, as well as the Solway coast, a rich array of
outdoor pursuits, including 32 golf courses, open
