The year 2011 has passed with highs and lows, but
also with many surprises. The turning of the year is
always a welcome opportunity to analyze past and
present, in order to create our future on that basis.

The year 2011 will go down in the HTI history as the
year of catching-up and recovery. Thanks to the
fruitful cooperation of all involved we have mostly
reached our targets and led the company back to
making profits. A look at our current order situation
gives reason to be happy and makes us expect an
economically good year 2012. Despite these positive
developments however it is only appropriate to start
the New Year with reluctant optimism only. The
macroeconomic environment is unsure, since the
discussions about the debts of many states have
been proven as widely ranged. There has not yet
been found a uniform way by the politicians about a
way out of this European debt crisis. The only consensus
is that it is clear to everybody that something
has to change and that we have to be prepared for
whatever there is to come. We – HTI – prepare ourselves
systematically for our future and have started
the ‘fit for the future’ program, where we ask every
single employee to present interesting suggestions
for the creation of our future. Together we build our
‘bridge to the future’ and develop action plans that
allow us to react flexibly and quickly to possible
changes. Since it is our goal, to always be a reliable
partner for our employees, customers, suppliers and
shareholders.
A substantial part of our strategic planning is also
the question of what the future will look like, how
competition, market, consumers will behave in future
and which technologies will gain importance.
Since companies, that are prepared for changes,
may become pioneers. And in the long run he, who
understands change and creates changes successfully,
will win.
Dear readers, now it is not long until Christmas, here
comes the quiet time that concludes every year,
however stormy it may have been. In this season
spirit I would like to express my appreciation to all
people, who are contributing to our business success.

dialogues and their productive cooperation. Thank
you for the many interesting orders and the appreciation
of our performance and services. It is our
pleasure to be there for you!

can count on us that we will do everything to reciprocate!

input in our company, since the innovation power of
our company is based on the multitude of ideas,
coming from our passionate employees. I appreciate
the exemplary dedication and the self imposed
demand to be the best they can and to generate
optimal results – always to the benefit of our customers
and their requirements.
