New investments
secure long-term orders

Gruber & Kaja doubles the performance for lead
frames. In autumn this year the second extension
stage of the top modern, highly efficient machining
center at the location in St. Marien was successfully
concluded. This investment
was made at exactly
the right time to produce
lead frames for another
Audi type, additionally to the
lead frames currently on
order, which results in an
order surplus of 27.5 million
Euros.
Just recently Gruber & Kaja
received an order for the
production for battery
housings from well known
producer of batteries for
electro mobiles, with an order
value of 2 million Euros. The battery will be
used in electric cars and reduce the charging time
for a full battery to 1 – 2 hours. For this no special
charging infrastructure is necessary. The battery
works worldwide with almost every existing power
supply.

One further new order in the value of 3 million
Euros was placed by MAN Truck & Bus AG. Starting
with 2013, Gruber & Kaja will produce flashlight
supports for various MAN truck series. With
these components our aluminum die cast specialist
makes the first step towards structure components.
HTP – successful on land ...
The Audi projects allow our division Automotive
the entry in the motor section. For the S3 and the
R8 it will produce the design covers, worth 2.4
million Euros. Also BMW relies on our technological
competency – HTP will produce the rod exit
flaps for the convertible of the BMW 3 series. The
order value is 2.6 million Euros. Wabco placed an
order for the production of valve bodies, worth 2.8
million Euros. This valve body consists of 3 components
and is used for control of the braking
system in commercial trucks. For the Mercedes
SL loudspeaker grilles worth 1.3 million Euros are
being produced. More than that, our division Automotive
managed to enter the seat market. It was
awarded to produce the pressure tank for Daimler,
worth almost a million Euros. This pressure container
serves the pneumatic comfort seat adjustment.
... and in the air …
Successful contract conclusions are also reported
on by our Aviation Lightweight Group, which is
looking back on a long-term, successful cooperation
with FACC, which is now being extended
and enhanced. Hence, our division Aircraft produces
the windows in the doors and the door handles
for the Airbus A350 as well as the corner supports
for the luggage compartment of the Airbus
A380. More than that, our lightweight specialists
will supply handrails and windows for the both
luxurious business jets Legacy 450 and Legacy
500. The interior of these new developments of
the Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer shall
provide the customers with unsurpassed comfort
and sophisticated design. In cooperation with
FACC HTP Aircraft now also wants to conquer the
Asian market. For the Chinese regional jet Comac
ARJ21 (ARJ21 stands for ‘Advanced Regional Jet
for the 21st Century’) our division Aircraft produces
divisions and cover rails for luggage compartments.
The ARJ21 is the first regional jet that was
fully developed and manufactured in China. With
these parts HTP is given the opportunity to participate
in the massively increasing passenger
numbers and hence the booming sales markets
in the Far East. The total value of these new orders
in the Aviation division is around 6 million Euros.
