Cabbage selections<br />
Dry Season-<br />
Tropical King matured earlier at 56 days after<br />
transplanting (DAT) and can yield up to 48.60tons/ha.<br />
00-050 matured at 63 DAT and can yield up to<br />
40.8tons/ha. Both entries had green to dark green<br />
leaves, flat round and compact heads.<br />
Wet Season-<br />
Alex 067 and 98-245, were selected based on the ability<br />
to form marketable heads early despite high<br />
temperature and heavy rains during the growing period.<br />
Alex 067- 5.77t/ha, 23.41 t/ha (potential yield)<br />
98-245 -3.28 t/ha and a potential yield of 16.40 t/ha<br />
