CANCER AWARENESS AND DONATIONS • Several divisions supported
causes to raise money and awareness for cancer:
Atlanta held a breakfast in
honor of Joann Walker—an
employee who passed away
in October 2011—and Ovarian
Cancer Awareness.
Denver employees celebrated
Lizzy Fun Day by contributing
refreshments and
prizes for a carnival
fundraiser to benefit a local child who was recently diagnosed with
cancer.
St. Louis employees supported a young girl suffering from cancer
by collecting pop tabs to help pay for her chemotherapy treatments.
They also supported The American Cancer Society by holding a raffle
for two St. Louis Cardinals tickets raising $60, hosted an employee
breakfast in memory of Pap Pashia—a STL employee who passed
away in March 2011—where employees donated almost $300, and
collected $866 from employees in exchange to wear jeans to work.
Kansas City divisions held a silent auction of items donated by employees.
A total of $1,214.74 was raised and was donated to the
American Cancer Society by the
Team IMPACT Relay for Life
team. Relay for Life was a 12-
hour event where walkers arrived
packed with games, food,
and energy. Someone from the
team had to be walking on the
track at all times. The team
grilled, walked, and remembered
those who lost their lives
to cancer and celebrated those
that had beaten it.

In Kansas City, the need in
Joplin brought together all
the KC divisions for record
breaking results. They collected
various items, such as
water, baby supplies, clothing,
and bedding to donate to
the relief, and accepted donations
for a pancake breakfast,
which raised $1,253.42!
Both Springfield divisions worked together and collected food, bottled
water, personal hygiene items, diapers, and clothing. All items
were donated to Convoy of Hope to assist the families in Joplin.
Denver employees raised $240 for the relief effort by having $5

HOUSE • Colorado cooked
and served breakfast of
scrambled eggs, bacon, and
French toast for 15 residents
at the Denver Ronald Mc-
Donald House.
Kansas City employees
held a bake sale in which
volunteers and Team IM-
PACT members baked goods and donated them to the employees. The
money raised was used to purchase food items to prepare two dinners
for families staying at the local Ronald McDonald House.
JOPLIN TORNADO RELIEF • After the tornado left devastation in
Joplin, MO, many employees united to help Joplin residents affected
by the tornado. St. Louis held
a food drive and 20 employees
donated their time on a Saturday
to hold their event in the
parking lot of a local Shop and
Save grocery store. Countless
items of food were donated by
employees, as well as the public,
and over $1,000 was
raised. An Overhead Door delivery
truck was used to transport
the items collected.
BLOOD DRIVES • St. Louis
and Wichita each held two
blood drives, and both
Springfield divisions combined
to hold four blood
drives throughout the year.
In total, over 100 units of
blood were collected.
