<strong>Mainfreight</strong> Asia – Michael Lofaro<br />
Asian region is an exciting<br />
challenge, one your Asian team is<br />
looking forward to tackling... but it<br />
is also a challenge that requires a<br />
whole of group effort. Remember<br />
that, most likely, almost every piece<br />
of cargo you may touch, anywhere<br />
in our global network, probably has<br />
a “little piece of Asia” in it!<br />

Firstly, we would like to extend a<br />
sincere note of welcome to our new<br />
team members from the Wim<br />
Bosman Group ... your colleagues<br />
in Asia are very excited about<br />
having you join our global family<br />
and we look forward to working<br />
closely with you all, to further<br />
develop our company’s Global<br />
Service Offering.<br />
As you can all imagine, international<br />
trade between Asia and Europe is<br />
significant, and the addition of the<br />
Wim Bosman team to our family<br />
opens up real and significant<br />
opportunities for our Group. Having<br />
had the privilege and pleasure of<br />
visiting our new team in Holland<br />
and Belgium in April this year, it is<br />
clear that our new family members<br />
have a spirit for quality and success<br />
that is inspiring and will be of great<br />
value to our Group as a whole.<br />

market with multiple nationalities,<br />
cultures, foods and geographic<br />
diversity. To cover the whole of the<br />

Here in Asia, our Group’s 100-year<br />
philosophy is alive and well. Our<br />
journey here has just begun, and<br />
with the support of our Global team,<br />
we are certain the journey will be a<br />
successful one!<br />
Over the last six months, since our<br />
last Newsletter, we have been<br />
working on opening our 7th branch<br />
in Mainland China... Qingdao. This<br />
new office will be fully operational<br />
by the end of June.<br />
Welcome also to our new team in<br />
Chile. <strong>The</strong> Air and Ocean market<br />
between Asia and South America is<br />
a rapidly growing one, and having<br />
our own Group operations in Chile<br />
can only further enhance our<br />
success in building this market.<br />
