NOTE: This is a very preliminary list of only one information literacy resource in the<br />
Azerbaijan language. The information literacy concept is very new to our country<br />
and region, and is currently known and practiced primarily by higher education<br />
institutions and some professions. Moreover, most library and information<br />
professionals tend to publish their research in more internationally used languages,<br />
such as Russian and English in our region. However, as the concept and practice<br />
become more widely known, and its value to ordinary citizens and local institutions<br />
becomes more apparent, we anticipate that more materials will appear in our<br />
language.<br />
