The contributors wish to emphasize that no attempt has been made to be completely comprehensive and authoritative, but only to generate a partial list of some of the most significant MIL resources that are accessible at this point in time from reliable sources in the Arabic language. We fully realize that this listing of selected items is only a "snapshot in time" and that new MIL resources are being added every day, and existing ones amended, updated, superseded or entirely deleted. Please bring any omissions or errors of commission to our attention. The contributors also acknowledge that there are many resources that have been created in Arab countries in other languages such as English and French. Concerning resources in French, a separate section has been devoted to them in the Chapter on French language; as to resources in English, some of them are included in this section as well as a selected list of bilingual publications in English and Arabic.
