WSQ Naming Conventions 4 In offering WSQ competency units, please observe the following guidelines when naming your courses. This is to help employees or trainees identify a WSQ course easily. Course Type Statement of Attainment (SOA) Course Content With one WSQ competency unit Course Name You can choose to adopt the WSQ naming for course, or devise a name that suits your course best. 1. Adopting WSQ Names When adopting the WSQ competency unit as a course name, you must include the relevant prefix before the course name. Example: • WSQ Interact with Guests 2. Devising a Course Name If you choose to create your own name for the course, you MUST include the WSQ Prefix and indicate the relevant Statement of Attainment that participants will receive in all your training and promotional materials. Examples: WSQ Competency Unit Title/ Course Name Example of a course name created by an NCI NCI to indicate the relevant Statement of Attainment that participants will receive in training and promotional materials WSQ Interact with Guests WSQ Hospitality and Interaction with Guests “Participants who successfully complete the course will receive a WSQ Statement of Attainment in WSQ Interact with Guests” A WSQ brand Guide for NAtional CET INSTITUTES
WSQ Naming Conventions 5 Programme Type Full WSQ qualification Programme Content Offering a full suite of WSQ competency units that fulfill the selection rules and credit requirements of WSQ qualifications Programme Name Please adopt the full WSQ naming together with the WSQ prefix for the programme name.
