WSQ Naming Conventions

In offering WSQ competency units, please observe the following guidelines when naming your courses.
This is to help employees or trainees identify a WSQ course easily.
Course Type
Statement of Attainment (SOA)
Course Content
With one WSQ competency unit
Course Name
You can choose to adopt the WSQ naming for course, or devise a name that suits your course best.
1. Adopting WSQ Names
When adopting the WSQ competency unit as a course name, you must include the relevant prefix before the course
name.
Example:
• WSQ Interact with Guests
2. Devising a Course Name
If you choose to create your own name for the course, you MUST include the WSQ Prefix and indicate the relevant
Statement of Attainment that participants will receive in all your training and promotional materials.
