with six new generation airbags. Passive safety features
include a curtain airbag system for front and rear passengers,
front seat side impact airbags, and standard driver and
front passenger airbags with passenger’s airbag deactivation
switch. This comprehensive airbag system has a special sensor
system that detects crash intensity and deploys the airbags
faster than ever before. The whiplash optimised front head
restraints and three-point seat belts ensure an even safer
drive. The front seat belts are fitted with tensioners and are
height-adjustable for added protection and comfort, with a
warning light and buzzer to notify you if your seat belt is unfastened.
The Light and Sight Package has highly advanced
features that further boost safety: the auto dimming interior
mirror dims potentially visually impairing light emitted by
traffic approaching from the rear, and automatic headlamp
activation with separate daytime running lights. It’s safety that

The Jetta’s technologically advanced Bi-Xenon headlights are

function activates on inclines, keeping your vehicle stationary
until pressure is applied to the accelerator pedal. The Hill-
Hold function then disengages and allows acceleration. No

safety features include an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS)
that enables the vehicle to be controlled in an optimal way
in any condition and an Electronic Stability Programme
(ESP) with Brake Assist and Electronic Differential Lock (EDL).
Electronic Differential Lock makes it easy for you to drive
off with the wheels on two differing road surfaces. Built
with a level of safety that ensures peace of mind on every
journey, the Jetta makes certain that once you are on the
road, you remain there. ESP, standard across the range,
recognises the first signs of a critical situation and intervenes
in milliseconds by utilising engine management control
systems to stabilise the Jetta. This, in conjunction with
