This course focuses on computer software tools used to<br />

prepare marketing materials. Students gain experience in<br />

developing promotional material such as brochures,<br />

posters, advertising copy and coupons using page layout<br />

software. They also learn the fundamentals of design<br />

theory which permits them to put together marketing<br />

communications that will grab the attention of the<br />

intended audience.<br />

Methodology: Multimedia presentations, hands-on<br />

computer tutorials, creative projects, theory and<br />

practical tests and a final project.<br />

Web Page Design for Marketing and Sales<br />

(Graphic Communications for Sport Marketing and<br />

This course combines the practical aspect of Web design<br />

with Dreamweaver. In this course students learn and<br />

apply software features to design, code and create<br />

professional-looking Web pages and Web sites. Students<br />

begin by understanding the research capability of the<br />

Web. They also gain knowledge of marketing and<br />

business strategies necessary to produce an effective<br />

Web site.<br />

Mehtodology: Multimedia presentations, hands-on<br />

computer tutorials, creative projects, theory and<br />

practical tests and a final project.<br />
