E. <strong>Course</strong> Withdrawals<br />
Students are permitted to withdraw from courses up to and<br />
including September 19 th* in the Fall semester and February<br />
14 th* in the Winter semester. Students who stop attending a<br />
course before these dates and who do not officially withdraw<br />
(in person at the Registrar’s Office) are considered to be<br />
registered in the course and will receive a failure. In addition, if<br />
a student’s attendance in a course cannot be verified as of<br />
September 20st or February 15 th , and if the student is not in<br />
actual attendance in at least 4 courses (or 12 hours per week),<br />
the student’s status may be changed retroactively to parttime.<br />
At that moment, the student will be required to pay parttime<br />
tuition fees required at the rate of $2.00 per course hour.<br />

F. <strong>College</strong> Withdrawals<br />
Students who must withdraw from the college are required<br />
to complete the appropriate form at the Registrar’s Office.<br />
Students who withdraw from all classes after September<br />
19th in the Fall semester, or February 14 th in the Winter<br />
semester, will receive failures in all courses for which they<br />
have registered and will be subject to regulations regarding<br />
re-admission.<br />

L. Transcripts<br />
Students who wish to have an official transcript of their<br />
academic record sent to a university, employer or other<br />
agency must complete a transcript request form at the<br />
Registrar's Office. The transcript request forms are also<br />
available online. The completed forms can be faxed,<br />
emailed to records@champlaincollege.qc.ca or you may<br />
also send a letter by mail with the following information:<br />
full name and signature, your <strong>Champlain</strong> student number<br />
(or birth date), your home address, the address of the<br />
recipient and a cheque, money order or credit card number<br />
sent to:<br />

Official transcript fee: $5.00 per transcript request<br />
The transcript fee must be paid in advance. We accept<br />
cash, cheque, debit, Visa, Mastercard or money order.<br />
Transcript requests must be made in person, by mail, by<br />
email or fax (see information above).<br />
This should be done well in advance of the date by which<br />
the transcript is required.<br />
Grades that are sent to a student's home are considered<br />
student copies only. Transcripts sent directly by the <strong>College</strong><br />
to the Admissions Offices of other colleges and universities<br />
are considered official and are stamped accordingly.<br />
J. Taking <strong>Course</strong>s at Other Institutions (Cours<br />
Commandites)<br />
Students already enrolled in the <strong>College</strong> who wish to take a<br />
course for collegial credit in any other educational<br />
institution including another CEGEP must obtain prior<br />
approval of an Academic Advisor. Such approval may be<br />
granted only in cases where it is impossible for a student<br />
to take the course at <strong>Champlain</strong> <strong>College</strong> <strong>Saint</strong>-<strong>Lambert</strong>.<br />
