PRESCHOOL CLASSES FOR 12/13 SCHOOL YEAR
(Ages 2-5) Bluemont Community Center offers a nine month preschool
program which follows the Loudoun County school calendar. Classes
are offered for 2 to 4 year olds. The State Department of Social Services
requires proof of current immunizations, proof of age and a childcare
application form. Our program follows the National Association for the
Education of Young Children’s recommended Creative Curriculum
Approach to Learning. Call the Center for available openings in current
year classes.

Full-time care is $215/week; half-time care is $189/week or $165/week
depending on schedule.

BCC ADVISORY BOARD
Anyone can volunteer for the Board; we are not elected or appointed. This
is for parents to help the center be successful in preparing our children for
elementary school. If you are interested in contributing your time to this
important effort please attend our next meeting. The first Tuesday
of each month.
We are here to help your family have a positive and fun experience while
here at Bluemont. Please feel free to contact us to volunteer or if you have
questions about any of the Board’s events during the year.
Mission Statement
We are a non-profit, volunteer organization whose mission is to assist the
Bluemont Community Center staff in providing entertaining and
educational family events, supplement preschool activities and supplies and
coordinate and staff programming for all ages in our community.
Vision Statement
Our vision is to be a service organization comprised of motivated,
concerned volunteer citizens who have the time and the resources
determine the greatest needs of our community and then define goals and
implement plans to meet those needs.
