“The YMCA helped us when we
thought that nobody would. We
were just having to trust in God
to assist us with everyday life.
That’s when the YMCA stepped
in and touched all of our lives,
especially with regard to our
children - and for that
we will be eternally grateful.”
Ready. Willing. Able.
One of our most important goals at the
YMCA is to enrich the lives of kids in our
community. But when some are left out, it
leaves us all a bit poorer. That’s because
giving kids a safe and nurturing place to
go benefits everyone. By introducing them
to experiences that will help them grow into
responsible and successful adults, we make
the community a better place to live.
They are Willing.
YMCA programs teach young people
important values such as caring, faith,
honesty, responsibility and respect. Through
a variety of fun and rewarding activities,
they also develop valuable skills and gain
confidence and self-esteem. To ensure that
no one is denied a chance to participate
because of inability to pay, we truly
need your help.
Because of you,
strong families,
strong communities.
Through the YMCA Strong Kids Campaign,
we can provide program support and
financial assistance to families who need it
in our community. Only by working together
can we give more kids the opportunity to
grow strong in spirit, mind and body.
Big Goals
To Make A Big Difference
At the YMCA, our vision sums up our purpose:
meet the needs of our diverse community.
Each YMCA branch serves different
neighborhoods with different populations.
Therefore, no two branches in our association
are exactly alike. Each branch is as unique
contribution will provide these branches
much-needed financial and program
assistance to help ensure that everyone,
regardless of financial ability,
can have a place at the YMCA.
This year’s Strong Kids Campaign is launched
with an ambitious goal of raising more than
$700,000.00. We ask that you please
give generously so that more kids and
more families in our community can share
the YMCA experience.
I AM READY.
“I could certainly afford a
designer gym, but I would
rather work out at the
YMCA and donate the difference
to the Strong Kids Campaign.
In this way, I am helping
others get the benefit that
I experience each week.”
