forces to make WSU history by starting
the CB Alumni Association Chapter
for the 23,500 WSU business alumni

Association chapter at WSU.
“We have a vibrant community of
alumni, and we are committed to creating
new opportunities for them to connect
with the College and with one another,”
says CB Dean Eric Spangenberg. “The
CB Alumni Chapter offers an important
first step to engaging with the University.”
Members of the CB Alumni Chapter
receive benefits ranging from discounts at
retail outlets and restaurants
to exclusive networking events
and a subscription to Alumni
Insider newsletter. A portion
of the CB Alumni Chapter
membership fee goes to the
CB Dean’s Excellence Fund,
funding the College’s highest
priorities and the fulfillment of
its vision to transform student
lives. In the future, members
may have access to exclusive
CB merchandise and electronic communication
opportunities.
CB Alumni Chapter members can also
look forward to special engagement and
networking events, and special invitations
to CB gatherings. During Homecoming
Weekend CB Alumni Chapter
members will have the opportunity to
attend an exclusive reception after the
annual CB alumni barbeque.
“We have dramatically increased and
enhanced the array of benefits and
services all WSUAA members enjoy,”
says Tim Pavish, executive director,
WSU Alumni Association. “We’ve also
expanded the association’s involvement
in alumni outreach, student recruitment,
equity and diversity initiatives,
and university advocacy.”
