an adverse effect on the health, safety and welfare of other residents?<br />
b. Is there a history of any drug-related or violent criminal activity<br />
which would adversely affect the health, safety, well being or right of<br />
peaceful enjoyment of the premises by other residents or SAHA<br />
employees?<br />
c. Is there a history of abusing alcohol in a way that may interfere<br />
with the health, safety, or right to peaceful enjoyment of the premises by<br />
others?<br />
1. Alcohol abuse shall only be evaluated as an aggravating factor in<br />
the context of a criminal conviction, as determined herein, or in the<br />
context of a prior housing eviction.<br />
d. Is any family member registered as a lifetime sex offender? Such<br />
individuals are ineligible for assisted housing for life; and<br />
e. Has any family member been convicted of producing or<br />
manufacturing methamphetamines on the premises of an assisted<br />
housing unit?<br />
1. Such individuals are ineligible for assisted housing for life.<br />
f. Is there evidence of a record of disturbing neighbors, destruction of<br />
property, or living and housekeeping habits at prior residences that might<br />
adversely affect the health, safety and welfare of other residents?<br />
1. Applicants with prior evictions for nuisance and/or breach of lease<br />
agreement within the past three years will be denied admission.<br />
g. Does the applicant have a poor past performance in meeting<br />
financial obligations, especially rent? At a minimum, the applicant shall:<br />
1. Have a consistent record of timely rent payments during the<br />
immediate three years prior to the evaluation.<br />
i. Applicants who have had 1 or more evictions for nonpayment<br />
of rent in the immediate three years prior to the<br />
evaluation will be denied admission.<br />
h. Does the family have the ability to maintain (or with assistance<br />
have the ability to maintain) their housing in a decent and safe condition<br />
based on living or housekeeping habits, and whether such habits could<br />
adversely affect the health, safety, or welfare of other residents? and<br />
i. Has a family member committed fraud in connection with any Federally<br />
assisted housing program, including the intentional misrepresentation of<br />
information related to their application or benefits derived therefore?<br />
4. The applicant must provide the complete and accurate Social Security numbers<br />
and the documentation to verify each Social Security number assigned to the<br />
applicant and to each member of the applicant’s household, regardless of age,<br />
who claim to have legal residency or citizenship status.<br />
5. The applicant, spouse, and each member of the applicant’s household who is 18<br />
