The Resident Assistant RAs are individuals who are problem solvers and can help us make the residence hall a community. RAs are students that are academically successful and can be supportive of other’s academic goals. RAs encourage a positive multicultural environment. West Virginia Wesleyan College Resident Assistant positions are for individuals who want to improve themselves by gaining valuable leadership experience. Required: Must be a full time student A cumulative G.P.A. of 2.5 No major judicial incidents Work ethic, responsible, and a team player Attend RA training and required events Important Information January 25 th 2012: RA Applications are due in the Campus Life Office by 4:00pm. Please submit the application and letter of interest together along with any letters of reference. January 28 th 2013: Interviewing Process begins Letter of Interest and Resume: o As part of the application process, you are asked to submit a cover letter and a resume outlining your interest in the RA position. You are encouraged to provide an overview of your experiences and how you might be qualified to assume the RA role. Please use the cover letter as a representation of your talents and abilities. The cover letter and resume should be typed. Please enclose all of your materials in your application booklet. If all application materials are not submitted, your application will be considered incomplete and will not be considered for the Resident Assistant position. If you have a preference, please identify all residence halls that you are interested in working in. IF there is not enough space for your answers please type them and place the typed copy within this application. Upon completion of application, sign-up for an interview time with the Office of Campus Life
