June 10-14 Welcome to the No Bummer Summer!<br />

Welcome to Camp! The wait is over and the excitement begins. Spend the week meeting new friends, reacquainting with<br />

the old and building camp spirit. This week you will be introduced to the “Morph” family who will turn us all into positive<br />

peers. We will celebrate this magical week with a visit from a Magician. We can’t wait to get to know you!<br />

June17-21 Western Week<br />

Welcome to the Ranch – HOWDY!!!!!! Saddle up and put on your 10 gallon hat ‘cause we’re rounding up all cowgirls and<br />

cowboys to have some summer fun on the Western Frontier. We will spend the week getting to know our fellow ranchers<br />

and learning about life on the CK ranch. Friday you’ll want to dust off your boots, saddle up your horse, and wrestle up<br />

some grub at our ranch style hoedown complete with a petting zoo. We can’t wait to get to know you pardner. This is<br />

how the West was fun!!!!!<br />

June 24-28 - Monster Mania (2 nd grade and under)<br />

Get ready to have a monstrous good time this week. We will participate in monstrous laughs, jokes, projects, and activities<br />

that will be larger than life. On Friday we will be going to the theater to see Monster University. Learn how two mismatched<br />

monsters overcame their differences, and became best of friends. This week will be filled with screams of delight!<br />

June 24-28 Harry Potter (3 rd grade – Middle School)<br />

Calling all Muggles and Mudbloods to the Hogwarts Castle. Our professors will kick off the week with a sorting ceremony<br />

where campers will be sorted into one of four houses. Our magical wizards will spend the week attending Hogwarts classes.<br />

Throughout the week house points will be awarded or taken away. After our final Quidditch game on Friday, the<br />

house cup will be presented.<br />

July 1-3 America the Beautiful (Closed July 4 th and 5 th )<br />

Salute to our Troops! This week we’re surrounding the fireworks with some sparks of our own! We’ll celebrate this week<br />

devoted to the good ol’ USA and the brave troops who help keep us free with Patriotic crafts, rip roarin’ relays, and activities<br />

will help us remember what makes America so great!!!! We will be closed on July 4 th and 5 th so that everyone can<br />

celebrate the holiday with family and friends.<br />

July 8-12 Summer Time Celebrations<br />

Summertime is the time for festivals, fairs and carnivals. We will celebrate Michigan’s small town festivals with a CK spin.<br />

On Friday our campers will celebrate our annual carnival, filled with cotton candy, party jumpers, games, and prizes!<br />

July 15-19 PHunology of the Arts<br />

Get your curious minds ready to mix some extreme science concoctions and create some amazing art. CK is the place that<br />

science and art come together for a funtastic good time. We will end our week with our very own PHunology laboratory<br />

and Art extravaganza. Dress for the mess! (all week)<br />

July 22-26 Community Unity Week<br />

We’ll spend the week caring for our community and learning how campers can make a BIG difference through community<br />

service projects. On Friday, campers will meet many interesting community members who will share their careers and<br />

vehicles that help them in their jobs.<br />

July 29 th -Aug 2 Extreme Sports<br />

CK will be hosting the 2013 CK X games this week. This insight into the world of summer action sports offers fans unrivaled<br />

passion and intensity on a thrilling stage where new talents emerge. Friday morning we will have some friendly competition<br />

with the big air contest, rally car racing, tryke motor cross, marshmallow war, and other extreme games. Campers will<br />

wrap this week up by going to Airway Lanes for some X-treme Fun!<br />

August 5-9 No Campers Sleep Tonight<br />

I just can’t wait for the Zoo!!!! In the jungle, the mighty jungle, no children sleep tonight. In the building, the mighty<br />

building, the excitement starts to roar! In the building, the mighty building the children cheer for more. Hush my darling,<br />

Oh my darling, were going to have some fun! Oh my darling, don’t fear my darling were heading to John Ball Zoo!<br />

August 12-16 Traveling Tourist<br />

Pack your bags and get ready to go! We’ll start by picking our worldwide destinations and designing posters so that other<br />

classes know where we are going. After boarding the CK Fun Ship will we set sail to the great unknown. While at our<br />

destinations, we will enjoy the sights, eat the food, study the arts, play games, and learn about the culture. When the<br />

campers return on Friday we will celebrate our “Wondrous World”.<br />

August 19-23 Woahh Dude!!!!<br />

Check out the party wave! Hey, all you Dudes and Dudettes, grab your shades and ride the riptide down to CK bay! There<br />

will be buckets of laughter and splashing everywhere. Don’t be shark bait and miss the wicked fun! We will be swimming<br />

over to Full Blast for a great time!<br />

August 26-28 BFF (Big Fantastic Finale’)<br />

As summer comes to a close we will have time to look back on all of the fun we have had and spend the last week of CK<br />

summer with our friends that we have made along the way. This week we will have our class parties and get ready to say<br />

goodbye until we meet again!<br />

Registration and Rates<br />

Our day camp is open to all Kindergarten – Middle School students. Camp is open<br />

Monday – Friday 6:30 am – 6:30 pm. Breakfast, lunch, and snack are provided to<br />

all campers.<br />

Campers will be accepted in the order that registrations are received,<br />

up to the capacity of the camp. Camp registration fee is $45.00 for one<br />

child, $80.00 for two children, or $105.00 per family. The weekly rate depends<br />

on how many hours your child will need per week and are as follows for summer<br />
