The <strong>Crestview</strong> <strong>Local</strong> Board of Education met last evening August 23, 2012 for the Regular Board Meeting.<br />
Approval of the Minutes:<br />

Treasurer’s items of business:<br />
Approved the financial statements for July 2012.<br />
Approved to accept the following donations and grants:<br />
1. $ 400.00 from the Music Boosters to the HS Band Program<br />
2. $1,000.00 from Patty Gable for the Dolores and Kenneth Burns Memorial Scholarship (awarded to Elizabeth<br />
Bernhard)<br />
3. $ 212.65 from Pediatric Consultants to the Elementary for First Day Celebration.<br />

Approved the following student fundraisers for the 2012-2013 school year:<br />
1. <strong>Crestview</strong> Varsity Cheerleaders—Crossroad Candles—August 5-17, 2012.<br />
2. <strong>Crestview</strong> Varsity Volleyball—T-Shirt Sales—August 10-24, 2012.<br />
Approved to amend up to ten (10) days extended time for Dave Stevens, Technology Coordinator, for the 2011-2012<br />
contract year instead of for the 2012-2013 contract year.<br />
Approved the following as tuition students for the 2012-2013 school year.<br />

2012; for the care of newborn child.<br />
Approved transfer for Lori Hall as 3.5 hour middle school cafeteria personnel for the 2012- 2013 school year.<br />
Approved transfer for Gwendolyn (Lyn) Thorpe as 3.5 hour high school cafeteria personnel for the 2012-2013 school<br />
year.<br />
Approved Christa Spoerr as 2.5 hour elementary cafeteria personnel, zero (0) years experience, compensation will be<br />
based on appropriate placement on the OAPSE <strong>Local</strong> #775 negotiated salary schedule, effective with the 2012-2013<br />
school year; contingent upon a clear criminal records check (BCI/FBI).<br />
Approved salary adjustment for the following, effective with the 2012-2013 contract year; salary per <strong>Crestview</strong> Teachers<br />

required documents, one (1) year limited contract:<br />

expertise for work sessions, research and other tasks essential to the project’s completion.<br />
Approved to ratify collective Bargaining Agreement between The <strong>Crestview</strong> <strong>Local</strong> Board of Education and OAPSE <strong>Local</strong><br />
#775 for the period of July 1, 2012 to June 30, 2015.<br />
ITEMS FOR DISCUSSION<br />
A. Approved to accept the Booster Club’s recommendation of an agreement contract with Pepsico Foodservice.<br />
The next Regular Board Meeting has been re-scheduled for Monday, September 17, 2012 at 6:00 p.m., Middle<br />
<strong>School</strong> Assembly Room.<br />
