Introduction
The progress of science in industrialized countries produced a series of
benefits for humanity, but brought with itself a paradox: this same progress
maintained, in a conservative way, the Cartesian Newtonian principle of
science, according to which only experiments/phenomena liable of identical
repetition of results can be considered scientific knowledge, ignoring thus all
knowledge, principally from oriental medicine, which, but for some rare (and
current) exceptions, has with it scientific confirmation, like acupuncture.
Orthodox medicine in Western universities is, still today, organized and
taught according to this view, ignoring all that which present technology is
unable to measure, as, for instance, what is related to “vital energy”.
The studies of Heisenberg, the contemporary physicist who brought to
light the concept of particle-waves and the interactive participation of the
observer in the experiment, enlarging the basic concepts of mechanistic
physics, explained some of the phenomena related to “vital energy”.
All the great therapeutic trends classed as “alternative” – homeopathy,
anthroposophic medicine, ayurvedic medicine, Chinese medicine (these last
two being millenar) – contain this knowledge in their essence.
At present, various other therapeutic practices (do-in, shiatsu, florals,
phytotherapy, reiki, pranatherapy, chiropraxy, acupuncture – this one being
accepted by the universities – among others) work with energetic features.
It is in the universe of mind-body medical science, in the opening of
knowledge from psychosomatic medical science, and at the light of quantum
physics that the D.O.S. TM – in Portuguese, Dispositivo Otimizador de Sistemas,
meaning “System Optimizer Device” – finds its context and application.
The D.O.S. TM system is the result of researches developed in Brazil and
abroad by engineer Dr. Giampiero Cungi, who created during his work devices

capable of stimulating energetic reordenation, inducing the individual's
organism to respond more adequately to its general equilibrium necessities.
This more encompassing view in relation to that proposed by orthodox
science considers and studies man in a holistic way, that is, in his different
levels: physical, psychical, mental, and noetic, relating thus his health state to
the harmony of his whole being. In this sense, holistic therapy goes beyond
the biochemical limits, seeing health as the satisfactory interaction of these
different levels and leading to a harmonization of existential goals and
purposes.
In metabolic and degenerative diseases, for example, the harmonious
interaction of mind-body relationships (principle of psychosomatic medicine)
can be stimulated by the D.O.S. TM system, which often improves vital functions
and stimulates the biochemical apparatus to responses that are more coherent
with its original health pattern.
Each D.O.S. TM unit is in itself a harmonizing device.
When the D.O.S. TM system is used in a prophylactic basis by healthy
people without established diseases, the effects observed are: an increase in
lucidity, an anti-stress (physical and mental) effect, a considerable gain in
intellective function understood as emotional intelligence, an increase in the
capacity for accepting change, with more creative and natural responses,
either in dynamic or static situations.

Research and Development
D.O.S. TM is the result of 35years of research, especially in the area of the
so called vital energy of man. Practical means were sought to activate, transfer
and metabolize the “energy” called since Antiquity: Prana, Ki, Od, Orgon, Vital
Energy, etc.
The D.O.S. TM device was developed in Brazil by the European engineer
Dr. Giampiero Cungi, who initially participated in research groups in Bologna,
Florence (Italy) and other European centers.
Dr. Giampiero, after working with various prototypes and experimental
situations, established the D.O.S. TM device in its current versions, obtaining
encouraging results in the therapeutic area of mind-body relationships, among
others.
The D.O.S. TM energetic field sends information inputs that, when received
by the unbalanced energetic systems, stimulate their balanced reconfiguration.
In such cases, the person not only improves her physical health, but also her
other levels, realizing her maximum natural potentials.
D.O.S. TM Features
D.O.S. TM is a portable device that has as a basic feature the capacity of
stimulating the optimization of a system. From this derives, then, its
denomination as System Optimizer Device.

D.O.S. TM is an “informer”, a carrier of inputs, coherent, vital and
intelligent energy impulses. It may be applied to vital energy centers
(neuroglandular plexes), directly over affected organs, or over points related to
other therapies, like acupuncture, for example.
It is considered a smart button TM , because it stimulates the correction of
entropy (tendency to lack of equilibrium) in the levels at which reorganization
is more urgent and necessary.
D.O.S. TM is the result of the interrelation of a set of elements organized
in an architecture based on multidisciplinary concepts. It contains pluri-strata
impressed circuits, interconnected with extra-pure precious metals (gold,
platinum, etc.). The technology used is based on complementary aspects of
“resonant form” systems and their originated holographic patterns, which
generate intelligent actions of profound harmony.

D.O.S. TM Types
The D.O.S. TM system is available in the following versions:
D.O.S. TM 2233 – Its sets are formed by 5, 7, 12, or 22
units used simultaneously. It contains 26 information
layers in each of the two parts that constitute its
structure. The central core is a 4-pole discoid that allows a more constant and
uniform distribution of the energetic feature. It also includes bioceramic
energetic cells.
D.O.S. TM Personal 2233 GT – A circular unit of
small dimensions for use as a pendant over the heart
plexus. Designed to be used by people daily, with
the goal of keeping the energy system in balance
and working harmoniously. Serves both as a
complement to the therapy sessions with the
D.O.S. System kit, extending the duration of their
results, and also works independently of them. It is a protective energy field,
providing a harmonic rhythm to the system. Its action is relaxing and helps
reduce the negative stress.
D.O.S. TM Risonante PS1 – Its set is constituted by 12
peripheric D.O.S. TM units coupled to a signal transfer unit
and a sound system. D.O.S. TM Risonante PS1 was developed
according to the same operative principle of D.O.S. TM , and

center of the human system. The D.O.S. TM field, which contains basic harmonic
systemic information, carries to the plurifrequential human system ports or
receptor points the electromagnetic information (music, words,

BioDos TM 2233 – The BioDos TM 2233 device is one of the
last applications of the D.O.S. TM principle. Through modulated

Remarks: The D.O.S. TM 2233 devices may be used over the energetic centers:
top of the head;
forehead, between eyebrows;
base of the neck, over the beginning of the sternum;
thorax region, between the breasts;
abdominal region, over the navel;
supra-pubic median region;
perineum;
hands and feet.

All units may also be used separately and/or over specific points (specific
organs or points).
Remarks
The D.O.S. TM sets may be used over body meridians and acupuncture or
reflexology points, among others, according to the therapist's discernment.
Moreover, they may be employed for aesthetic purposes.
D.O.S. TM 2233 devices are recommended whenever there is a necessity
of general reequilibrium in the system, at any level: physical, psychic or
mental.
They may also be used over reference centers, before localized
treatments.
Any D.O.S. TM set may be placed over clothes and fixed with adhesive
tape, being unnecessary the direct contact with the skin. Though both sides of
the units can be applied to the body (as the contents in the interior are
symmetric), putting the flat base touching the body and the slightly convex
(the one with the colored dot) pointing against the body might be more
indicated.
Each D.O.S. TM unit is in itself a system harmonizer and “purifier”
element. Thus, when a D.O.S. TM is used over a contusion, for example, we are
informing those hurt tissues about how they should recover as quickly and
correctly as possible.
When using the D.O.S. TM five-unit set (that is, the five units placed over
the energy centers in the forehead, the larynx, the thorax, the navel and the
pubis), we will be “informing” (furnishing inputs) each center of the system
with harmonious energy, knowing that in theses places the man-system is
more receptive and spreads best the information to his whole energetic being.

If seven units are used, they should also be placed over the crown center
and the perineum, as mentioned above. Any number of D.O.S. TM units may be
used simultaneously, as necessary.
Duration of each session
It has been observed that for most people D.O.S. TM sessions of 40
minutes, with variations of more or less 10 minutes, are enough to transmit all
the information necessary to them, during that session. Clearly, the time
periods are individual; there are people who sleep during the session and after
40 minutes are still asleep. These people may remain in a session for up to 1
hour, while others, after 25 or 30 minutes, have relaxed, woke up and will feel
uneasy if they stay more time with the D.O.S. TM . These displays indicate that
they are already revitalized and ready to operate with that energy; they want
to stand up, work, move.
The therapist is then responsible for determinating the duration of the
session for each person.
Frequency of sessions
The general patterns are of at least 2 D.O.S. TM sessions per week,
specially in the first 10 sessions. When the interval between sessions is
extended too much, the information for energetic organization may be
weakened due to external or internal disturbances. In this case, the person
requires more time to gather an information quantum that allows her to
reorganize and reconfigure her system.
Imagine a runner that needs to jump over some obstacle. He has to run
to “accumulate” the necessary energy to transpose the obstacle; on the other

hand, if he goes walking, he will not be able to jump successfully once he
reaches the obstacle.
However, as happens with the duration-time of the sessions, the
frequency of weekly sessions varies according to individual cases. More acute
or unbalanced cases deserve daily treatment. Simple or prophylactic cases,
and treatments of energy center harmonization, may use one D.O.S. TM session
per week, until the expected harmonization is reached. After this phase, we
suggest a progressive reduction of the frequency of sessions; for example, in
the case of a person who has reached her goal of harmonization in 10
sessions:
1st week - 3 sessions
2nd week - 3 sessions
3rd week - 2 sessions
4th week - 2 sessions
5th week - 1 session
And then -
1 session each 10 days
1 session each 15 days
1 session per month
After that, the person will continue the sessions according to the desired
prophylaxis.
Effects during the session
As D.O.S. TM is an optimizer device, so called collateral effects (nocive to
the system) are not observed. Though rare, however, passing reactions may

occur, especially in the first sessions. These are:
pressure in the forehead, that diminishes spontaneously during the same
session or after its terminus; related to removal of energetic blocking;
pricks, sometimes acute, last a few seconds and manifest generally where
the person has or has had some organic problem;
formication or swelling sensation, sensations of swinging, displacement,
heath or cold, that must be interpreted by the therapist;
The reactions presented by some people during the first and/or second
session are relative to obstacles encountered by the D.O.S. TM equilibrating
energy, when it reaches that point. Sometimes there are, in emotionally
susceptible people, “catharsis” reactions like, for example, moments of
weeping or laughing.
If such manifestations occur, the D.O.S. TM session does not need nor
should be interrupted. On the contrary, these signs show the receptive state of
the person and the start of the gradual harmonic reequilibrium of her system.
These manifestations are occasional, cease after the second session, and as a
rule the sensations are described as edifying and pleasant.
Action of D.O.S. TM devices on different energy levels
D.O.S. TM acts in all energy levels (or “bodies”) – the physical, emotional,
psychic, mental, noetic, and all other intermediate and superior levels, as the
information propagation is allowed.

Imagine a system with layers interacting among themselves: a change in
one layer reverberates on all the others, as a spring. The D.O.S. TM stimulus will
always reach first the layers where the necessity is greater.
Specific anti-stress effects of D.O.S. TM
D.O.S. TM is an avant-garde methodology that stimulates the system to
reach a state of deep relaxation, serenity, vitality and lucidity. At medium
term, there occur sensations of well-being, and often after 2 or 3 sessions
much stressed people feel encouraged and decided to resolve their problems
through seeking adequate solutions.
If the therapist is attending a very restless, anxious or stressed
individual, it is good to remember that the response-time to the treatment
does not depend on D.O.S. TM , but on the blockages (“armours”) of each
person.
Some specific applications
We have noticed in general lines that the therapeutic modality of
D.O.S. TM is very useful in traumatic, cicatrization, chronic-degenerative and
painful processes; and also in cases of metabolic disequilibrium, obesity,
anorexy, sleep disturbances, allergic reactions. In all these situations an
improvement in recovery time has been observed.
D.O.S. TM has shown itself to be, moreover, particularly efficient in
harmonizing the environment (home, work, etc.), water and food.

Use of D.O.S. TM in other therapies
D.O.S. TM may accompany any kind of therapy, conventional medical,
homeopathic, homotoxicologic, psychotherapeutic and bioenergetic. It always
works as a facilitator.
Use of D.O.S. TM
on children
The principle of D.O.S. TM is always the reharmonization, that is, to
stimulate the system to return to its original harmony, its equilibrium, its
central axis. It is known that children are “cleaner” and more harmonious
systems than adults (because they were not yet influenced by disharmonious
inputs). Thus for them the time of utilization must be significantly lower
(sessions of 5 or 10 minutes, for example), and they are normally responsive
to equilibrium with fewer sessions.
Counter-indications of use for D.O.S. TM
Pregnancy The effects of D.O.S. TM on pregnancy are unknown, and for this
reason the use of D.O.S. TM on pregnant women is not recommended.
On eyes Probable change in the ocular fluid, can cause discomfort.

Conservation and Maintenance
The same D.O.S. TM device may be applied to many people, because It is
not influenced by the energetic fields with which it makes contact. After use it
may be washed with water and neutral soap; antiseptics or cleaning alcohol
may also be used. Even if there is some color alteration in its external
covering, its internal constitution will remain unaltered.
D.O.S. TM tolerates high temperatures (105°C) and may therefore be
autoclaved.

The D.O.S. TM sessions do not substitute medical care, but
complement and hasten it. Always consult your doctor before starting

cylindrical shape, with approximately 16 cm height
and 17 cm diameter. It is projected for the
harmonization of swimming pools, water reservoirs
or artesian wells, hydrotherapies, ofuros, domestic
bathtubes, etc. The Water System H 2 O TM 2233 sends information to the
medium with which it makes contact, stimulating molecular and energetic
