R5: York Street B Improve bus operations on York Street between<br />

Barrack Street and Druitt Street by removing kerb<br />

extensions.<br />

Precinct 3: southern<br />

S1: Sussex Street A Introduce morning and evening peak hour parking<br />

restrictions adjacent to the western kerb <strong>of</strong> Sussex<br />

Street on the approach to Goulburn Street and<br />

Liverpool Street. Introduce evening peak hour<br />

parking restrictions adjacent to the eastern kerb on<br />

the approach to Goulbourn Street.<br />

S2: Goulburn Street A Modify the existing kerb extension on the south-east<br />

corner <strong>of</strong> Goulbourn Street and George Street to<br />

provide three through lanes on the approach<br />

to George Street.<br />

S3: Pitt Street A Modify lane arrangements and introduce morning<br />

and evening peak period parking restrictions to<br />

introduce northbound and southbound capa<strong>city</strong><br />

between Goulburn Street and Campbell Street.<br />

S4: Ultimo Road A Modify lane arrangements to provide a dual-left turn<br />

into Harris Street from Ultimo Road.<br />

S5: Broadway A Modify lane arrangements in Broadway (<strong>city</strong> bound)<br />

and on Wattle Street to encourage use <strong>of</strong> Wattle<br />

Street for access to the <strong>city</strong> <strong>centre</strong> and <strong>city</strong> north<br />

areas.<br />

S6: Pitt Street A Modify lane arrangements to set priorities between<br />

Pitt Street, George Street and Quay Street.<br />

Precinct 4: college<br />

C1: Wentworth Avenue A Maximise the use <strong>of</strong> the 21-metre wide carriageway<br />

to provide an additional northbound and southbound<br />

lane over much <strong>of</strong> the length <strong>of</strong> the corridor whilst<br />

improving the turning movements at both Goulburn<br />

Street and Oxford Street.<br />

C2: College Street A Create additional lengths for left and right turns on<br />

both <strong>of</strong> the approaches to Park Street, whilst also<br />

modifying the road geometry at the northern end <strong>of</strong><br />

College Street and on Prince Albert Road to<br />

introduce capa<strong>city</strong> for the traffic approaching<br />

Macquarie Street. Modify the lane arrangements<br />

between Macquarie Street and College Street to<br />

introduce northbound capa<strong>city</strong>.<br />

Precinct 5: financial<br />

F1: Macquarie Street A Introduce northbound capa<strong>city</strong> in the morning and<br />

evening peak periods on the approach to Bridge<br />

Street.<br />

F1: Macquarie Street A Remove right turn bay on Macquarie Street on the<br />

approach to Hunter Street in order to increase right<br />

turn capa<strong>city</strong> for motorists accessing Shakespeare<br />

Place and the Eastern Distributor.<br />
