The impact ratings are separate from the visual impact assessment which considers<br />

effects on specific receivers in relation to the overall change within the road corridor.<br />

At a local level trees are an important component <strong>of</strong> the <strong>city</strong>’s aesthetic values,<br />

recognised through their planned management by City <strong>of</strong> Sydney. In this context,<br />

they have a greater individual value than as part <strong>of</strong> the overall streetscape/landscape<br />

character. Nonetheless, depending on their location, type, maturity and condition,<br />

they do contribute to the streetscape character albeit to a more limited level than their<br />

individual value.<br />

Figure 6-5 shows the locations where trees would be removed or pruned under the<br />

proposal. Table 6-46 describes the details <strong>of</strong> the proposed work.<br />
