1.4.2 Search techniques<br />
A comprehensive bibliography was prepared; general searches were<br />
c<strong>on</strong>ducted for the purpose <strong>of</strong> identifying key informati<strong>on</strong> to inform each<br />
<strong>of</strong> the topic areas, <strong>and</strong> ultimately to inform guidelines <strong>and</strong> policies to<br />
support women with intellectual disabilities <strong>and</strong> their experiences <strong>of</strong><br />
crisis pregnancy.<br />
The review incorporated theoretical literature <strong>and</strong> empirical research.<br />
The methods <strong>of</strong> identifying literature involved:<br />
