will have to be prepared to stop on Apollo Road (off of okanagan Landing Road) where it meets Longacre because
almost daily I see cars going though that intersection from the stop sign without stopping or looking. The only thing
that slows people down at this end of the street is the sharp corner at the bottom of the h¡ll. lf a speedway was put in I
can only imagine how dangerous this would be for us backing out of our driveway, not to mention for our child and pets'
overall we are disappointed with the insistence of council that the Hesperia development move forward. I think it
shows lack of good judgement from our city representation considering that Vernon's urban development is moving to
the North of the city and it seems that our i.pr"r.ntrtion fails to see that that is where we need to locate a major
affordable housing project, not on Okanagan Avenue'
