PAGE 3 BYLAW NUMBER 5234 13.4 GD4: Gomprehensive Development Area 4 13.4.1 Purpose ' Schedule "A" atteched hereto and forming part of Bylaw 5234 This Zone is intended to create a cohesively designed and integrated residential neighbourhood with superior urban design and quality of development. . The Zone provides for the development of an environmentally and socially sustainable residential neighbourhood with a significant component of Gontrolled Market Housing to be integrated into each Building. ' Reference should also be made to the provisions of "The Villages at Okanagan Landing Development Plan". 13.4.2 lnterpretation 13.4.3 Definitions ln the event of any conflict or inconsistency between any provision set out in this CD4 - Zone and a provision set out elsewhere in Bylaw 5000, as amended, then the applicable provision in this CD4- Zone shall govern and apply. ln this CD4- Zone, the following definitions shall apply: o Building Typologies means the different residential built forms which are to be constructed on the individual Parcels as required by the Parcel Specific Regulations. . Gontrolled Market Housing means residential Primary Dwelling Units designed and constructed to accommodate moderate to middle income working families as their principal residence, subject to the owners complying with the following criteria: l. The residence shall be the primary residence and not a seasonal residence; 2. The owners shall not be at the time of acquisition the owners of other real estate in Canada; 3. At least one of the residents of the Dwelling unit shall at the time of acquisition be working in the City of Vernon; and, 241
