free parking for vehicles displaying Veterans Plates;
AND FURTHER, that the policy be referred for consideration by
the 'City Centre Parking Action Team', a sub committee of the
Transportation & Parking Advisory Committee.

Mr. Doug Edgar, Past Chair, Heritage Advisory Committee, introduced
and provided background regarding the Vernon Heritage Register
project, and to addressed questions from Council. Members of the
Heritage Advisory Committee were recognized for their valuable
contributions to this effort.
