Once the rubber wedges have the glass mullion properly positioned, the channel is filled with black silicone sealant to prevent debris from falling into the channel. The glass mullions are adhered to the glass lites with black silicone sealant / adhesive. This leaves a clean, precise black line and acts as the structural connector between the lite and the mullion. 8
