MISCO Consulting is an official accredited centre for the <strong>In</strong>stitute of <strong>Leadership</strong> <strong>and</strong><br />
<strong>Management</strong> (ILM), part of City & Guilds group responsible for management qualifications<br />
world-wide. Managing employees effectively holds the key to business success.<br />
ILM qualifications provide managers with the skills to energise their organizations<br />
by engaging with staff <strong>and</strong> maximizing their contribution to the bottom line.<br />
The ILM <strong>Level</strong> 7 <strong>Diploma</strong> in <strong>Strategic</strong> <strong>Leadership</strong> <strong>and</strong> <strong>Executive</strong> <strong>Management</strong><br />
aims to give practising managers the widest choice for their formal development in<br />
this role. The qualification does this by developing a very wide range of strategic<br />
leadership <strong>and</strong> senior management skills <strong>and</strong> assisting participants in gaining the<br />
comprehensive knowledge required at this level. This qualification is more suited to<br />
the practising senior manager/leader, due to the more challenging dem<strong>and</strong>s of the<br />
programme.<br />
Entry Requirements<br />
There are no formal entry requirements, but participants will normally be either practising<br />
or aspiring senior managers with the opportunity to meet the assessment dem<strong>and</strong>s.<br />
Participants will have to prove they are in a senior manager position by presenting<br />
a short profile <strong>and</strong> then they will sit for a personal interview with a qualified<br />
panel. They will be evaluated if they meet the assessment criteria or not.<br />
Method of Delivery<br />
Qualification is completed through tutor led sessions approach <strong>and</strong> tutorials.<br />

Participants are able to choose from a range of optional units to build their<br />
qualification. This high level of flexibility allows individuals or their employers<br />
to custom build a qualification that focuses on the key areas of senior management<br />
that are most relevant to the dem<strong>and</strong>s of a specific role, industry<br />
<strong>and</strong> organisation.<br />
Participants who attend the <strong>Diploma</strong> in <strong>Management</strong> gain a free six months<br />
ILM with our Trial membership package. ILM membership brings access to a<br />
wide range of online resources, news <strong>and</strong> information that have been specially<br />
selected to support management learning <strong>and</strong> development. It’s the idea way<br />
to help learners get the most from their ILM programme <strong>and</strong> support their<br />
management career.<br />
On successful completion participants are eligible for a minimum grade of Associate<br />
Membership (AM<strong>In</strong>stLM) of the <strong>In</strong>stitute of <strong>Leadership</strong> & <strong>Management</strong>.
