(i) in paragraph (1)(B), by inserting
‘‘through 2013’’ after ‘‘of such succeeding
year’’; and
(ii) in paragraph (2), by inserting
‘‘and ending with 2013’’ after ‘‘beginning
with 2000’’.
(2) UPDATE OF RATES FOR 2014 THROUGH
2018.—Subsection (d) of section 1848 of the Social
Security Act (42 U.S.C. 1395w–4) is amended by
adding at the end the following new paragraph:
‘‘(15) UPDATE FOR 2014 THROUGH 2018.—The
update to the single conversion factor established in
paragraph (1)(C) for each of 2014 through 2018
shall be 0.5 percent.’’.
(b) UPDATE INCENTIVE PROGRAM (PHASE II).—
(1) IN GENERAL.—Section 1848 of the Social
Security Act (42 U.S.C. 1395w–4), as amended by
subsection (a), is further amended—
(A) in subsection (d), by adding at the end
the following new paragraph:
‘‘(16) UPDATE BEGINNING WITH 2019.—
‘‘(A) IN GENERAL.—Subject to subparagraph
(B), the update to the single conversion
factor established in paragraph (1)(C) for each
year beginning with 2019 shall be 0.5 percent.
