2.1 Classifying Statements
The following table is a summary of Open Watcom FORTRAN 77 statement classification.

indicates that the statement is not allowed as the terminal statement of a DO-loop.
indicates that the statement is not executable.
indicates that the statement is not allowed as the object of a logical IF

statement label.
indicates that the statement is allowed in a block data subprogram.
