Murray Moss, Curator and Creative Director of Moss Bureau, and
Materialise will present Factory 2.0, featuring a 2D/3D interactive
stereolithography installation and the Forum of Stephen Jones,
created by the British Milliner.
Join other attendees and exhibitors on Tuesday evening for a networking
reception on the show floor with light hors d’oeuvres and
a cash bar. Keep the interaction going while you network with
peers, discuss applications with speakers and colleagues and
continue discussions with exhibitors in a relaxed environment.
Conference attendees receive refreshment vouchers.
The installation will illuminate the RAPIDly evolving relationship
between Art and Additive Manufacturing, focusing on innovations
which are changing how Art is conceived and made, particularly
through the use of Materialise’s proprietary Mammoth
Stereolithography technology, which is able to realize previously
unrealizable mammoth works of art. In the museum’s famous Time
Line Gallery, renowned British Milliner Stephen Jones has been
commissioned to create a monumental work, also addressing
both Warhol and Additive Manufacturing.
Also at this reception, Materialise will announce the winner
of the Andy Warhol Challenge, a competition sponsored by
i.Materialise that encourages artists to design what they think
Andy Warhol would have produced with 3D printing technology
if he were alive today.
Hors d’oeuvres, beer and wine will be served throughout the
evening.
